Practicing The Loving Kindness

Nyanna Threadgill

1. Describe your experience. ( Did you find it beneficial? Difficult?) Why or Why not ?
Would you recommend this to others? Why or Why not?

I found it beneficial I enjoyed the steps of being able to think about myself and focus on some issues that I am dealing with in my life and realizing that with prayer that things can change. I was also able to do some raki healing in the quiet time at the end of the c.d. it was very beneficial to me.

The experience was difficult but at the same time beneficial because  I had a opportunity to think of some one in the past. That I needed to let go of some negative anger that I was holding on from  that person. So some how I was able to let that go. That was a real opener for me.

When I had to look at a loved one that was in pain that was difficult because I just lost a loved one Last Wednesday. I am still in shock. It was  older cousin that I was close with.

I also look at a loved one who is sick and I pray that god gives them the strength to get better everyday. But I know I know in my heart  that they are dealing with a lot of battles right know.  But each battle we deal with GOD can heal them and make the better. With his healing hands all things are possible.

I would recommend this to others. This would give them an opportunity to write down their thoughts and feelings on self, family, friends, and this can be a begining for healing forthem as this was for me.

2. What is the concept of " Mental Workout" What does the research indicate are the proven benefits of a Mental Work Out ? How can you implement mental workouts to foster your psychological health?

Mental Workout focuses on your psychological state of mind and how you process your thoughts and feelings and how it relates to self and others.  I can relate this to my personal growth. By first, journaling  my thoughts and feelings.
